Basics & Ball Prep
1:30-3:30pm

This workshop will focus on the basic couple dances of the period, the waltz and the two-step, including sequence dances such as the Veleta and the Washington Post which will be done at the evening ball. We will also take a quick look at some of the contras and quadrille figures to be danced in the evening.

This workshop is included with the weekend or the evening ball, or it may be taken separately for $10.00.

Advanced Variations
3:45-5:30pm

This workshop is for dancers with prior experience in the late 19th century or Viennese waltz and will cover the related Pasadena (two-step) and Caprice (waltz) variations. The beginners' workshop alone is not sufficient preparation without prior experience.

This workshop is included with the weekend or it may be taken separately for $10.00.

Just want the workshops and not the ball? Take both workshops for only $18 - no pre-registration required!
