Tea Dance
New Haven Colony Historical Society
114 Whitney Avenue
New Haven, Connecticut
Sunday, May 7, 2005
1:00 - 4:00pm

Wind up your weekend with us with a tea dance at the New Haven Colony Historical Society. Enjoy an afternoon of informal early 20th-century dancing to recorded music, with delicious refreshments served at the breaks.

Period day costume or light-colored summer semiformal wear (dresses or blouses and skirts for ladies, light-colored trousers and shirts for gentlemen) encouraged.

Directions:
If you are coming from I-95 (either direction), take exit 48 onto I-91 north. If coming from the north, take I-91 south. Either way, take I-91 to exit 3 (Trumbull Street); stay straight to go onto Trumbull. Take a right onto Whitney Avenue. The Historical Society is a majestic-looking building on the left, less than 1/10 of a mile along where two one-way streets meet and become a two-way street. There is parking in the back and on-street parking on the surrounding blocks. Meters are not in effect on Sundays, but watch for permit parking zones.

A map of the area is here.
